Can I try Nanome before purchasing?

Yes. The Starter plan is free and lets you explore the web visualization features at no cost. Every new account also gets a 14-day Full license trial — no credit card required.

Do you offer academic pricing?

Yes — two flavors. Academic (Personal) is intended for individual students and researchers: the Free Web Seat is free, and a Full seat (web + XR) is $250/yr. Academic (Department) is for educational institutions and labs deploying at scale: Full Web Seats start at $50/yr with a 50-license minimum, and Full seats are $150/yr. Department deployments include syllabus and course implementation assistance, managed devices, and shared molecular file storage across the academic experience.

What's the difference between Starter, Academic, and Commercial?

Starter is free and gives you web-based molecular visualization with limited workspaces and credits. Academic (Personal) adds the full tool catalog and XR collaboration at student/researcher pricing. Academic (Department) is the institutional version with shared storage, managed devices, and implementation support — minimum 50 licenses. Commercial is for industry teams and ships in two flavors: Cloud on a single-tenant Nanome-hosted stack with premium support, or Enterprise deployed behind your firewall (cloud or on-prem) with custom development, internal database integration, and dedicated IT support.

What's included in Commercial Enterprise?

Everything in Commercial Cloud plus custom deployment (private cloud or on-prem), dedicated IT and customer success, internal database integration, integration with custom or internal LLM and MCP servers, and custom development.
